Concrete Colorants
Add beauty and durability to your concrete surfaces through the use of concrete colorants.
Interstar Pigments
We have a inhouse Interstar Granular Dispenser System.
Interstar's premium quality pigments are renowned for their purity, uniformity, intensity and durability. To ensure the highest level of quality, Interstar technicians carry out a series of rigorous tests on all finished products to certify their level of quality, performance, conformity and uniformity. Their pigments adhere to ASTM C979 specifications for integral concrete colorants, including superior alkaline resistance and effective defense against the elements. Pigments are available in a wide variety of colors to match your project. To look at the available colors click here.
We carry two lines, the CHROMIX Admixtures, which are solid colors blended into the concrete during mixing, and the LITHOCHROME Chemstain Classic, a surface applied stain that produces a variegated, translucent effect.
CHROMIX Admixtures
CHROMIX Admixtures are colored, water-reducing, set-controlling admixtures for horizontal or vertical architectural concrete. Coloring concrete integrally, they create rich hardscapes and precast, tilt-up or cast-in-place buildings of natural beauty. Time-tested and proven, they produce permanent, uniform concrete color, increase concrete strength, and improve workability, finishing characteristics, and freeze/thaw resistance.

LITHOCHROME Chemstain Classic
Reactive penetrating concrete stains developed exclusively for use on new or old concrete surfaces and cementitious toppings.
LITHOCHROME® Chemstain™ Classic produces variegated, translucent concrete color effects unique to each surface. The beautiful patina is ideal to simulate the shadings of natural stone or create artistic faux finishes. Due to their chemical reaction with concrete, Chemstain colors become part of the surface. They will not fade, chip, crack, or peel. Initial application of a compatible sealer or coating and periodic maintenance are required. See Tech-Data Bulletin A-414.
